Standard Walls
Measure the full width and height of the intended area at its highest and widest points, excluding edge boards.
Double-check for accuracy. When ordering, add an extra 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) to these measurements for a perfect fit.
Wall with door or window
For areas with a door, window, or any obstacle, simply overlook them and measure the entire width and height of the room. The sections covering these obstacles can be trimmed away during installation.
Don't forget to add an extra 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) to your measurements when placing your order for that perfect fit.
Sloped wall
In rooms with sloped walls, measure as if it were a complete rectangle, ignoring the slope. We'll provide the full rectangular design, which you can trim for excess during installation.
Don’t forget to add 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) to your measurements when placing your order to ensure the perfect fit.
Staircases
- Height: Measure from the top of the stairs (ceiling) straight down to the bottom (floor).
- Width: Measure straight across the stairs horizontally, not diagonally.
Your measurements should make a rectangle. Keep in mind that there might be significant excess when using a wall mural along stairs, which will be trimmed during installation. Choose your design accordingly.
